We’re back! Well, next year we are. Just brought our 2017 chassis back to our “storage” area after a sweet paint job by Lew Lombardo of Ultimate Restoration. The plan at this point is that there is no plan. We’ll be running the Sportsman division whenever and wherever we feel like it. After beating our heads against the wall trying to run with the modifieds, reality set it that we didn’t have the funding or time to compete at the level we needed to. We had successes over the years, but without a major upgrade to our engine program, we’d just be turning laps. Off the track, Justin has a very energetic toddling (more like running) 16 month old daughter and a thriving business, so the focus on racing has shifted to fun. We want to be competitive, and be prepared to give our best every time we’re on the track. This change will let us do that. We now begin the process of building a new race team from scratch.
